- I'm looking for the quickest way to get a Java development environment
- on my
- A4000. While I've been a subscriber to the Amiga-Java mailing list
- (announcements),
- I haven't seen anything come across that list yet (in a few months) so I
- don't
- know if such a port is progressing or not. I know there is a Linux port
- of Java and
- I know that Linux runs on the Amiga. The questions that I'd like to get
- feedback
- on from net users are:
-
- Is going with Linux on my A4000 the best route? Is the Amiga version of
- Linux
- comparable to Linux on PCs? Any ideas how far along either the Java or
- AmigaDos
- Java ports are?
-
- Thanks.
